FREE CONSLUTATION
I offer a free 15 minute consultation via telephone or virtual appointment. This give you an opportunity to get to know me and a little bit about the therapeutic process. The goal of the free consultation is to help you determine if I am a good fit for you and your needs - a vibe check.
The research shows that the single greatest determining factor in successful therapeutic outcomes is the relationship which develops between the client(s) and the therapist. It is paramount that you feel comfortable with me.

ASSESSMENT
The primary focus of the first session is assessment - gaining a comprehensive understanding of your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you would like to accomplish through therapy. This may include the use of various screening tools to help both of us gain a deeper understanding and a clearer picture of where you are at. They also provide a benchmark we can look back on from time to time.
I am not able to provide any kind of formal diagnosis or prescribe medication. However, I can refer you to those who can, and communicate with them on your behalf, provided I have your written consent.

TYPICAL SESSION
Our sessions will be driven by your therapeutic goals which are established during our first session and are periodically reviewed. Generally, by the third session I will provide you with a therapeutic plan, based on your goals and assessments, which will form the structure and trajectory of our sessions.
I provide sessions of various lengths. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration but are booked as 1 hour. Longer and shorter appointments are available upon request
